Bridget’s character was definitely a fun one. She is very kind, smart and at times really funny. She is a princess, but she isn’t someone who takes advantage of that fact. All Bridget’s wants is to do normal stuff and spend times with her friends. But being royalty makes ‘being normal’ hard. I simple loved reading the chapters from her point of view. If you’re looking for a sexy, funny, interesting, passionate romance novel.. Twisted Games is definitely for you. And well.. Who doesn’t love royalty and a very handsome bodyguard? What makes it worse is the fact Ana in no way a feminist because if she was she wouldn’t promote this monstrosity of work. and the excuses people use for his actions are ridiculous “she stole from him” yeah because she was running from her past which was not his business. I loved Alex and Ava’s relationship. It was so fun to see Alex slowly fall in love with Ava throughout the book. The groveling was the perfect amount. Everything was just 🤌 chef’s kiss. May have been the shortest book in the series, but it was a good one.

RHYS was the reason this book wasn't rated lower and the reason for me to believe that Ana Huang has potential after all, just how Alex was the reason I hated the first book. Rhys was just so much better than Alex, even though he had his red flags (I talked about that in the updates). I'm not a fan of his relationship with Bridget, especially the portion of the story while they weren't romantically involved and he was just her bodyguard. He was jelaous and stupid??, bossing her around, telling her "everything he does is for her best" and using that as an excuse to be an absolute asshole. He forgot his place so many times that I had to remind myself he was her bodyguard. Changing that portion of the story, seeing his submissive side would make this story better BY A DEGREE (once again, argue with the wall). However, seeing Rhys's character development gave me peace and comfort, I loved his banter with Andreas and hints of a relationship with Nikolai.

And as she navigates the intricacies - and treacheries - of her new role, she must also hide her desire for her bodyguard – a man she can't have… I also love the Thayer girls trying to get Alex to have any sort of emotion what so ever in the beginning it was hilarious. And the part where she was asking him what she wants most in life AHHHH. Can’t get enough of them.

This book had the best plot to it and it tied so well together with the way things played out throughout the book it was creative, maybe predictable, but I loved every turn in it. Michael Chen deserves to rot in hell, although I’m very surprised Alex didn’t have him killed in prison, kinda was sad actually. But it was set up for Josh so I don’t blame them for that. I also love how at the end they actually talked about not getting married yet because they want to work on building their careers and even tho they seem like the most immature couple that makes them the most mature couple. Putting their careers first especially when they’ve worked so hard to get to where they are. And their careers are a little more difficult and time consuming than others. and lastly shoutout to magda, she did nothing wrong except be ugly #FREEMAGDA #JUSTICE4MAGDA sign my petition to replace the mona lisa with magda = #justkiddingchristian also wrote stella letters every single day after they broke up, watered his own plants because he missed stella and resorted to talking to them = grovelling/emo christian (it's also giving colleen hoover christian, did you read All Your Perfects by any chance mr harper 🤣).
