If you are interested in the lens’ IS capabilities for video, you’ll be happy to know that it performs really well. The funny thing is that the clutch requires some real effort to move and makes a snap noise when you do, yet somehow I often found the clutch in the wrong position without me noticing how it got there. It also ensures that you can create video recordings without extra tools, like a tripod or a Gimbal (see the video recordings made with Olympus OM-D EM-1 mk2) with such a small housing and so little weight. Quite simply, this lens brings an unparalleled combination of high image quality, compositional versatility, robust construction and near-magical image stabilisation.
